That's how much a pensioner from KRUS gets a pensioner. He had to meet a specific condition
KRUS pensions are governed by their own laws than standard benefits from ZUS. They are entitled to persons covered by social insurance in KRUS, who have reached the statutory retirement age (60 years in the case of women and 65 years in the case of men) and may document at least 25 years of contributions. The longer this period lasts, the larger the amounts can be obtained. Higher benefits can also count on people who were born before January 1, 1949. In their case, the period of work outside agriculture is also included in the pension.

The highest pension from KRUS in Poland
This was the case with a retired farmer – a record holder. His pension in 2024 amounted to PLN 4,295.66 gross. After on March 1, 2025, this amount increased by 5.5 percent, reaching the level of PLN 4532.90 gross per month – informs next.gazeta.pl. The man was subject to KRUS insurance for 41 years and 7 months, of which he worked outside agriculture. The amount of his pension – although the highest in Poland – cannot be compared with an analogously record pension from ZUS, which last year amounted to over 50,000. PLN gross per month.

Farmers' pension system is based on the two most important elements. One of them is the basic part, the same for all pensioners and regularly valorized every year. The second – supplementary – is calculated individually and dependent on the length of the contributory period, additional years of work after reaching retirement age, possible work outside agriculture (here the date of birth before January 1, 1949 decides).
After the last valorisation, KRUS's basic pension is PLN 1878.41 gross.
