The criminal from Krasnoyarsk paid for a bribe an employee of the colony and instead of the desired parole received a new term. This was reported in the prosecutor's office of the region.
According to the supervisory authority, the attacker fell into a colony-settlement in the village of Tagara in 2023. The 26-year-old guy had to spend 5 years in places of imprisonment. However, in January 2025, he decided that he had to return home as soon as possible and offered one of the colony employees 300 thousand rubles for his release.
“The colony worker, not wanting to receive a bribe, invited the convicted person to his office and under the control of investigators, acting as part of an operational experiment, agreed to the conditions of the man. A few days later, the convicted person under the supervision of law enforcement officers handed the employee an envelope with money. However, instead of freedom, he received a new criminal case, ”the prosecutor’s office said.
Later it turned out that the attacker asked for money for a bribe from his parents. However, they did not know about the true motives of their son and were sure that funds were needed to hire a lawyer.
The court found the man guilty of the transfer of bribes (paragraph “b” of part 4 of article 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and attached to the inseparable punishment of another 8 years of a general regime with a fine of 900 thousand rubles.
