The implementation of the recovery plan for Huta Węglokoks, HPP and HPK should lead to the reinstatement of their surgical activities in the perspective of the year – Map informed. In April, work should also be finalized on plans for Huta Pokój and Walcan Baturady.


In response to the parliamentary interpellation, the ministry reminded that on March 28, with the involvement of WKS legal advisor and in cooperation with the iPopa, a restructuring agreement was concluded between Węglokoks and Huta Profile Room (HPP) and Huta Pokór Structures (HPK), which specifies the catalog and manner of achieving the actions aimed at achieving the goals of the repair and restructuring plan.
“The restructuring agreement assumes the conduct of a number of activities by each party aimed at recovering operating profitability by the Companies, including the conversion of HPK and HPP debt to capital, provided that positive results of a private investor and creditor confirming the market of such action, property restructuring, reduction of operating costs and HPP and HPP countries are obtained. activities ” – wrote map.
He added that the implementation of this plan should lead to the restoration of the profitability of HPK and HPP operating activities in the perspective of the year.
“The restructuring agreement also contains a modification of the development investment plan to carry out in these companies under the investment agreement concluded by Węglokoks SA with the Chancellery of the Prime Minister” – emphasized.
As indicated by maps, parallel works related to the preparation of restructuring plans for Huta SA and Walcownia Blachy Sp. z o. o.

The minister of assets emphasized that the persistent difficult situation in the industry means that metallurgical companies, including those gathered around the Treasury, are in a very difficult financial situation.
