Crin Antonescu gave a security statement in 1988, but he was not a security collaborator, says CNSAS

The PSD-PNL-UDMR candidate in the 2025 presidential elections is a certificate that “he was not an agent or collaborator of the Security as a political police”, but gave a statement to the communist security in 1988 about a colleague of history at the General School in Niculi (Tulcea).

CNSAS claims that Antonescu cannot be assigned the quality of worker or collaborator of the Security, the political police of the communist regime.

The document, registered with the number 1554/10.04.2025, was issued in accordance with the provisions of the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 24/2008, regarding the access to its own file and the Security deconsposure, and was signed by the president CNSAS, Constantin Buchet.
