A strange custom in schools in Belarus. That's how they are getting ready for the day of victory

Belarus is preparing for the celebration of the victory day, which is celebrated both there and in Russia on May 9. The Belarusian dictator Aleksander Łukaszenko announced an interview with the Belta agency that he would traditionally take part in the ceremonies in Minsk and Moscow.
“I always participate in events in the Russian Federation and go home,” he said. Meanwhile, schools in Minsk are implementing the latest idea of the Sport and Tourism Department, which is a bizarre online challenge. Photos and recordings with the participation of children in almost acrobatic poses appeared on social media.
Officials from Belarus call: forward to victory!
Why are a group of children on one leg, with their hands and books on their heads? Apparently, they are to withstand 125 seconds in this position, and this-as explained on the instagram profile of the children's and youth center-is to symbolize hunger, 125-gram portions of bread issued in the besieged Leningrad in 1941-1944.
“Remember: every second is a symbol of the courage of those who survived those terrible days. Forward to victory!” – we read on Instagram.
However, this is not all – as Belsat informs, students also perform group marches in the tap. According to the originators of the action, this is to resemble the behavior of members of Soviet partisan units that operated on the territory of Belarus occupied by the Third Reich. Children also do squats at the walls for 10 seconds, which is to commemorate “the first 10 days of heroic defense of the Brest Fortress”.
