During the communication, the politician recalled how the Russians who were in Moldova at one time treated Moldovans living there, declaring them, in particular: “speak normal.”
“This is the attitude that“ there is no Moldovan people ”, there is someone there, I don’t know,“ underdeveloped, ”it, unfortunately, was not just for some people. I have Russian friends, very good ones that I value, but Russia, unfortunately, does not apply to Moldova, as well as to Ukraine, by the way. Russia, unfortunately, always considered this region (including its“ sanitary cordon ”, as her sanitar – said the Republic.

“I often ask myself: this is how to build relationships with someone who does not respect you; with who does not respect your choice; with who always says how to live correctly and what language you speak in; do you need to develop, how do you act? Unfortunately, this is now,” said Rechane.
He emphasized that “Moldovans are a hospitable people, but Moldovans require respect.”
“We have our own culture, our values, our own choice, our own language. We ourselves determined that we want to become part of the European Union. Russia says:” No, no, you can’t.
