The President of Ukraine, Volodimir Zelenski, sent a public message, on Sunday, after the attack by the Russian forces on the city of Sumî, and appealed to the pressure exercise on Moscow to convince her to stop the hostilities, reports the BBC.

The Ukrainian leader recalled that on Friday he was a month since Russia “rejected the US proposal for a full and unconditional cessation.”

The Kremlin, Zelenski added, “is not afraid” to continue launching ballistic missiles on Ukraine.

“Therefore, there are almost 100 attack drones every night … targeting ordinary Ukrainian cities,” says the Kiev leader.

He warned that the Russian attacks on the front line “do not stop”.

“Only the pressure – only the decisive action – can change this,” said the president of Ukraine.

“Every Russian ballistic missile, every cruise missile, every shahed drone and every guided bomb hit not only people and communities, but also diplomacy – and political efforts to put an end to this war,” explained Volodimir Zelenski.

At least 34 people killed in the sum of the sum

Two Russian rockets hit the center of Sumî, located in northeastern Ukraine, even on the Sunday of Flowers. At least 34 people died in the attack and more than 100 were injured.

“The attack hit right in the heart of the city. On the Sunday of Flowers,” said President Zelenski.

Volodimir Zelenski said that among the injured there is also a little girl “born this year”. He said that the little girl was injured by the second explosion.

In the Russian attack in the sum were killed two children, and another 15 were injured.

“Only some completely crazy miseries can do this,” said the Ukrainian president.

European leaders condemned the Russian attack, and the special American emissary for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, said he “exceeds any limit of decency.”

The interim president of Romania, Ilie Bolojan, sent a message of solidarity with the Ukrainian people.

“Spring scenes from Sum on this Sunday of Flowers, in which the Russian rockets killed innocent civilians. Our thoughts are with the Ukrainian people and the families of the victims. We continue to support every effort to obtain peace and to end these war crimes,” Ilie Bolojan wrote.
