The message transmitted by Pope Francis to the credible on the Sunday of Flowers. The Sovereign Pontiff went down to Saint Peter Square

Pope Francis greeted on Sunday, from his wheelchair, the crowd in Saint Peter Square, after the end of the flower service.

“A Sunday of Flowers and a great happy week”the Pope of the believers told, then returned inside the Vatican, stopping a few times on the road to talk to believers and a group of nuns, reports Reuters, quoted by Agerpres.

The pontiff is restored after a double pneumonia that held it for a long time.

Unlike last Sunday, when he had the first public appearance after the discharge 3 weeks ago, this time Pope Francis did not receive additional oxygen through a small hose mounted under his nose.

The 88-year-old Pope Francis was discharged on March 23, after spending five weeks on the hospital bed, fighting with a pulmonary infection that his doctor later stated that he was almost killed.

A signal that Pope Francis might feel better

Pope was advised to take two months of rest. Initially, the Sovereign Pontiff respected the doctors the advice after returning to the Vatican. But, giving a signal that they might feel more powerful, Pope Francis had four unannounced appearances this week and met with King Charles III of Great Britain and Queen Camilla.

It is not yet known whether the Sovereign Pontiff will participate in the events of the Great Week and those related to Easter, the most important holiday in the Christian world.
