The CBOS survey shows that the percentage of people who knew a foreigner personally increased in 2016-2023 from a third to more than half of the total respondents. Since then, he has stabilized at 55 percent.

More often they are people living in the city than in the countryside – especially the inhabitants of the smallest and largest cities. In addition, the higher the education and income of the respondents, the more often such knowledge is declared.
