The Association gives Life, the one who built a new children's hospital at “Marie Curie”, with the support of over 350,000 donors and 8,000 companies, accuses Victor Ponta of using in his electricity campaign the image of the hospital, although he did not ask for the agreement: “We want to keep this project away from any involvement or manipulation”.

In one of his election videos, Victor Ponta, an independent candidate for presidential elections, argues that if he is elected president he will cut positions from Eximbank and save 1 million euros a year, money that he will donate to the hospital dedicated to cancer children.

Life was reacted on Saturday, saying that Victor Ponta did not ask and never received the association's agreement for using the hospital image in any context.

The association says that it directly asked for, on various channels, to give up the use of the hospital image in its campaign and the promise to direct 1 million euros to this project, “because it is an unrealistic and immoral promise.”

“It gives life is an apolitical association, which does not support and has never supported a political candidate, regardless of its ideological vision and belonging. In addition, the hospital is built exclusively of over 350,000 natural persons and sponsorships from over 8,000 companies.

There was no public financing for the construction of this hospital, and the state did not involve in any form. On the contrary, he acted to block this project. Moreover, we do not want the state to finance such a project, but for the state to make the necessary reforms to no longer need to build their own hospitals, while politicians inefficiently use public money, and then make campaigns in which they say they are fighting with the system they have created.

We want to keep this project away from any political involvement or manipulation, out of respect for us, all those who have realized in this project. And out of respect for those who receive an additional chance at life because of this project, “wrote on Facebook the” Daugui Life “Association.
