The independent candidate for the presidential elections Nicușor Dan says that he would like to change the chiefs from the prosecutors in the situation where the President of Romania will become.
“On the parquet and on the DNA I am dissatisfied. At DIICOT and a specific activity that I do not have an evaluation at the moment,” said Nicușor Dan, at B1TV.
He motivated his intention by the fact that he is dissatisfied how the anti-corruption fight looks.
“There is a balance of power between the President-Government. Prosecutors, participate in the CSM meetings and the fact that it has the popular vote in the back ”, explained Nicușor Dan.
He stressed that there are areas of great corruption in Romania that no one bothers: “Justice has an important part, its half called prosecutors, and which deals with the anti-corruption fight and many of the things that do not happen, which Romania wants and which does not happen … I see and I think that Romanians are in Romania, which there are no more areas in Romania the forests ”.
The General Prosecutor's Office is led by Alex Florence, and DNA, by Marius Voineag.
