A Dacia Lăstun car, the only one in the Prahova county and one of the very few functional in the country, was one of the retro stars of the spring parade, an event organized, on Saturday, in Ploiești, by the County Branch of Retromobil Club.
The owner of Dacia Lăstun, Dumitru Ion, says that the car he owns brings satisfaction.
“I was a driver on a slipper, I was carrying workers, and I saw her somewhere near a block, under a tree and I asked a colleague who was in the area of whom he is. He told me that the owner is in America, I managed to get in touch with him, I took it, I completely at home, It was the service in the city, I was very pleased with it.

Subsequently, Dumitru Ion decided to keep the car and register it as a historical vehicle.
“When I said it didn't work anymore, I decided to keep it. The paint was something with yellow, something pleasant, but to register it as a historical car, it had to be like it was from the factory and so I did. It is the only historical car and I am proud of it.
According to Mihai Atanasiu, the president of the Prahova County Representation of Retromobil Club Romania, the Saturday event brought together almost 90 historical vehicles, many of Romanian production – ARO, Dacians, but also very beautiful American cars that do well in the public.
