The main commander of the armed forces of Ukraine has no doubt that Russia, in accordance with the recent predictions of Volodymyr Zełeński in “Le Figaro”, began a new offensive on the front.
Gen. Oleksandr Syrski announced on Wednesday that Russia opened an offensive in the Sumski and Kharkiv region. – I can say that the president is absolutely right and this offensive has already begun – he told the commander -in -chief of the Ukrainian army in an interview with the Ukrainian portal LB.UA.
– For several days, almost a week, we have almost been observing the number of enemy attacks in all main directions on the front line – he emphasized, adding that “an increase in the intensity of offensive activities” is observed despite attempts in deepened negotiations with Russia.
Russia constantly increases the number of soldiers
As General Oleksandr Syrski added, the Russians are still increasing the number of their soldiers, whom they tempt with well -paid contracts.
– The enemy has increased his group of soldiers five times since the beginning of aggression. Every month there are eight to nine thousand, which gives 120-130 thousand a year. On January 1, 2025, the number of the Russian group of troops participating in war in Ukraine was 603 thousand. soldiers, today it is already 623 thousand. – warns Ukrainian commander -in -chief in an interview with LB.UA.
