US President Donald Trump said he does not exclude the withdrawal of American troops that are stationed in Europe, considering that it all depends on how the negotiations will have with the European Union in terms of customs duties.
This is the first time that the White House leader speaks of the possibility of withdrawing US troops from Europe.
Trump was asked if he has any plan to reduce the presence of the US Army on the continent, after the US press reported about the possible withdrawal.
“Well, we could. I mean, it depends. We pay for the army in Europe. We are not reimbursed too much,” said US president in the Oval Office.
