Rafako with a gigantic loss. A company with nearly PLN 900 million in minus

Rafako estimates that in 2024 it had a consolidated net loss of PLN 877.1 million – the company said in a statement. The consolidated EBIT loss in this period amounted to PLN 697.9 million.

Rafako estimates that in 2024 consolidated sales revenues amounted to minus PLN 152.7 million, and the costs of basic operating activities amounted to over PLN 271 million.

It was stated that the greatest negative impact on the financial result of Rafako operating activities in the fourth quarter of 2024, as well as the consolidated financial result from the group's operational activities in the fourth quarter of 2024, has: establishing reserves for contractual penalties for breaking commercial contracts correcting trade contracts from the sale of the company in connection with the declaration of bankruptcy in the amount of PLN 39.2 million, updating the company's assets in the amount of PLN 18.6 million, as well as the creation of other reserves, including reserves for the costs of bankruptcy proceedings in the amount of PLN 47.0 million.
