Over 40% of Romanians believe that the law is not applied equally for all citizens. How many would like foreign investments in Romania to grow

According to the study conducted by Inscop Research, at the command of the Concordia Patronal Confederation, entitled “The attitude of the population regarding the economic patriotism and the vulnerabilities of the democratic regime”, almost half of the questioned Romanians consider that the law is not applied equally.
At the opposite pole, only 12.6% of Romanians believe that “The law is applied equally to all citizens“To a large extent, 17.2% to a large extent, 25.9% to quite a small extent.
Ask what they think about the Romanian companies that extend to the EU, 82.1% of those interviewed have a good opinion, while 12% have a bad opinion. The share of non-response is 5.9%.
Also, 67.9% of Romanians would like foreign investments in Romania to grow, 14.8% would like to decrease, and 14.5% will remain the same. The share of non-response is 2.8%.
The data were collected between March 13 and 17, 2025, and the research method used was an interview through the questionnaire.
The data were collected by the CATI method (telephone interviews).
The sample was simple, of 1005 people, representative of significant sociodemographic categories (sex, age, occupation) for the uninstitutionalized population of Romania, aged 18 years and over.
The maximum allowed error of the data is ± 3.1 %, to a degree of 95 %.
The study will be launched publicly on the occasion of the event the new economic patriotim, organized by newmoney.ro, at the conferences of Newmoney.talks. The event will take place on Thursday, April 10, at the Palace of the Bucharest Chamber of Commerce on Ion Ghica street no. 4, sector 3, Bucharest.
According to a Eurobarometer survey launched on March 25, 70% of Romanians believe that Romania has benefited from belonging to the EU.
