Former Colombian footballer Jorge Bolano, the former midfielder of Parma, died after a heart attack, at the age of 47, the club announcement. The former midfielder had played in Italy at Modena, Lecce and Sampdoria bands.

Born on April 28, 1977 in Santa Marta, Jorge Bolaño was an idol at the junior by Barranquilla, for which he won the title in 1993 and 1995, being a teammate with Carlos Valderrama and Iván René Valenciano.
He also left his mark at the national team of Colombia: he scored a goal in 36 appearances, was a South American champion under 17 in 1993 and played at the 1998 World Cup. The Bogota Federation announced the disappearance on the X platform.
