In Krasnoyarsk, an overpass is being reconstructed through Kotelnikov Avenue

In Krasnoyarsk, the reconstruction of the overpass begins through Kotelnikov Avenue as part of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”. The Ministry of Transport of the Territory reported that the state contract was concluded with the contracting organization of NBS-Siberia LLC.

Andrei Zhuravlev, head of the road of roads in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, recalled that a two -level denouement was built in 1984 at the around the regional capital. The reconstruction project was developed in the context of preparation for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk and will affect 3 roads-bypassing Krasnoyarsk, Krasnoyarsk-Solonets (Kotelnikov Ave.) and the access to the Novovaland microdistrict, ”Andrei Zhuravlev explained.

The reconstruction will affect the area with a length of 5.45 km, including 71.4 meters of the overpass. Repair will be financed from the regional and federal budgets, 1.8 billion rubles were allocated. It is planned to complete the work in 2027.

“During the reconstruction, the overpass will be expanded through Kotelnikov Ave. from 21 to 29 meters, transition-rostal stripes were equipped, and road clothing was strengthened. In addition, experts will perform superficial drainage, install artificial lighting and barrier fences, equip pedestrian sidewalks, retaining walls, and transport security point. The reconstruction project also provides for an underground pedestrian crossing from innovate to Solonets and the Metro shopping center, ”the ministry said.

Recall that in 2019-2022, a plot of 5.5 km 8.5 km was reconstructed at the round-the roadway was expanded to 4 stripes, barrier fences were installed to separate transport flows and built a bridge over the Kachu River.

“This year we will also carry out major repairs on the site from 1 to 5 km – from the Drokinsky mountain to the overpass. Here it will be enhanced, the asphalt concrete coating will be replaced, lighting, barrier fence and traffic information were installed. Thus, by 2027, the bypass of Krasnoyarsk will become modern, safe and comfortable for the highway, ”said Andrei Zhuravlev.
