In Krasnoyarsk, the “Total Dictation” was held for the first time at the Norilsk Nickel sites.
Participants could test their literacy in the people's museum of the history and development of navigation on the Yenisei and on the mountain slope in Bobrovy Log. In Funpark, the dictator was Yulia Filatova, Deputy Head of the Administration of the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The total dictation – already the 23rd in a row – was written in hundreds of cities around the world. Norilsk Nickel organizes sites at its facilities for the second time.
This year, the author of the text was the writer, rector of the Literary Institute, member of the jury of the Yasnaya Polyana literary award, Alexey Varlamov. The dictation is dedicated to the family of Alexander Pushkin.
Deputy of the regional Legislative Assembly Irina Subocheva dictated the text on the site in the museum of the Yenisei River Shipping Company.
“Dictating a text is honorable and exciting! After all, dictation unites thousands of people throughout the region and throughout the country. Everyone who was lucky enough to write a dictation on this site also had the opportunity to listen to a wonderful excursion. Schoolchildren definitely need to come here as often as possible,” noted Irina Subocheva.
Among the participants was Maria Samoshkina, an excellent dictation student and employee of the Yenisei River Shipping Company. This is her 10th time participating in the event.
“I like that you can test your knowledge and get a little nostalgic about your school days. And maybe learn something new! It’s doubly nice to write your anniversary dictation in your native place!” shared Maria Samoshkina.
The “Total Dictation” event at the Shipping Museum was complemented by an excursion. It was conducted by the museum caretaker, a riverman with extensive experience, Boris Goncharov. Guests learned about the most interesting and ancient exhibits.
“I have been to many museums in the city and region, Moscow and St. Petersburg. This is not the first time I’ve written a dictation, and I always choose such interesting places,” said Tatyana Murza, a resident of Krasnoyarsk and an experienced participant in the action.
