70 thousand willing for nearly 570 places. Italians are fighting for a job at a customs agency

Over 68,000 people entered a competition for 569 jobs at the Italian Customs Agency. The initial written exam took place in 11 places throughout the country. A record number of candidates is applying for the position of assistants for charging fees.


120 people per place – this is the statistics of the current competition procedure, which shows how attractive work at the state agency, dealing with the duties, as well as excisets, among others.
It is also at the headquarters of this agency that it takes place three times a week by the drawing of the popular SupeRenotto numerical game, in which sometimes wins in the amount of over 100 million euros fall.
Candidates for work are required to know administrative law, political economy, EU, customs and tax law, as well as companies' accounting.
After checking the test tests, called selective, the finalists will begin.
The whole procedure is to last for four months until the winners are submitted to the winners.
“The current competition procedure has no precedent, also in terms of its pace,” the agency said.
