The Prime Minister informed about plans on this matter on the X. “We are soon starting an information campaign in seven countries, where the largest number of migrants comes from, trying to illegally cross the Polish border,” said Tusk.
“Our message will be simple: the Polish border is tight. Do not believe smugglers, do not believe (Alaxandr) Łukaszence, do not believe (Vladimir) Putin. They lie to you when they say that this way is the way to Europe. This is not true. You will not submit a request for asylum here, and above all you will not exceed the Polish border anymore.”

On March 26, President Andrzej Duda signed the so -called Asylum Act – amendment to the Act on providing protection to foreigners in the territory of the Republic of Poland, which assumes the possibility of introducing a temporary, territorial limitation of the right to submit an application for international protection.
On 186 km of border with Belarus, it is built in 2022 – a 5.5 m steel dam. It is the main element of securing this border against illegal migration.
