Like the Bucharest Stock Exchange, European stock market markets collapsed on Thursday morning, April 3, after President Donald Trump imposed customs duties on countries around the world. Even the actions on Wall Street collapsed after the announcement of the US President.

This measure escalated the global commercial war and increased fears about slowing down the economy.

The last time the BVB opened the red was after the candidacy of Călin Georgescu in the presidential elections in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was rejected by the Central Electoral Bureau (BEC).
