Italy are on fire and accuse Chivu of winning with the referee's help. The Inter – Juventus match changes the rules in Serie A

It's hot in Italy, after the football match Inter Milan – Juventus Turin 3-2, on Saturday night, counting for the 25th stage of Serie A.

The phase that ignited spirits came in the 42nd minute when 'centre' Federico La Penna brought down France's Pierre Kalulu. The visitors were forced to play a half with 10 men. It went into half-time with the score 1-1. The Juve player received two yellow cards, one in the 32nd minute.
The Italian publication “La Gazzetta dello Sport” wrote that the first card was “exaggerated” and the second – “absurd”. The second “yellow” was awarded after a hand outstretched by Kalulu, as a kind of barrier, in the direction of Alessandro Bastoni, who had gone on a counterattack.
It was established that Bastoni simulated, not being touched by the opponent. “Gazzetta” awarded referee Federico La Penna a score of 4, and “Old Lady” is considered stolen.
Chivu, accused of lack of fair play
Gianluca Rocchi, who makes the delegations of referees in Italy, was firm: the center was wrong. “We are very disappointed with the incident: for La Penna's decision, which was clearly incorrect and will be suspended for a long time, but also for the fact that we could not use VAR to rectify it”, said Gianluca Rocchi, according to the ANSA news agency.
The federation is hoping for a change in protocol so that such moments can be reviewed by the VAR system to reverse decisions. At that stage it was not a question of a red card given directly, which is why the VAR was not consulted.
For his part, Cristian Chivu (45 years old), the Milanese coach, is accused of a lack of fair play, as he was not objective in analyzing the situation and said that his player was touched.
On the list of those who challenged him are Alex Del Piero, former captain of Juve, and Massimo Ambrosini, former captain of AC Milan – the formation with which Inter are fighting for the title.
After 25 stages, Inter is first in Serie A, with 8 points over AC Milan, who have a game in hand.
