As the first committee, it registered Sławomir Mentzen, a confederation and co -chairman candidate of this party, who is an economist by profession. Mentzen announced that he had collected 250,000 signatures with support.

The PKW also registered the candidate of the Civic Coalition, the President of Warsaw Rafał Trzaskowski. Over a million signatures were collected under his candidacy.

Karol Nawrocki – president of the Institute of National Remembrance, supported by Law and Justice, is also running for the office of the president. Over 1.3 million signatures were collected in support for his candidacy.

The Marshal of the Sejm, Szymon Hołownia made 400,000 signatures of support at the PKW.

The left -hand candidate, Senate Deputy Marshal Magdalena Biejat will also start in the election. 419 thousand signatures with support were collected under her candidacy.

The MP of the Together party, Adrian Zandberg, was also registered – 180,000 were collected under his candidacy. signatures with support.

The former MP of the Democratic Left Alliance, economist Joanna Senyszyn, will also fight for the presidency. Currently, she is a journalist in the weekly “Fakty after myths”.

Another registered candidate, Artur Bartoszewicz, collected with the help of a website 160,000 signatures. Bartoszewicz is an economist by profession, an academic teacher at the Warsaw School of Economics. A candidate of non -party local government officials, a lawyer by profession, Marek Woch announced that he had collected 100,000. signatures of support.

Grzegorz Braun, excluded from the Confederation, was also registered by the PKW in the presidential election. The declared number of signatures collected under the candidacy of the European Parliament MP is 170,000.

Maciej Maciak's committee (leader of the prosperity and peace movement), who is also applying for the start in the election, was called to remove the defects of the application. The candidacy of: Marek Jakubiak (MP of the Free Republican Circle), Dawid Jackiewicz (former PiS MP, in 2015-16 of the Minister of the Treasury in the government of Beata Szydło), Wiesław Lewicki (activist of the German Polonia) and Romuald Starosiel (candidate of the Polish repair move).

On the last possible day, the signatures of support for their candidacy were also made by entrepreneur Paweł Tanajno and journalist Krzysztof Stanowski.

In the previous presidential election in 2020, PKW registered 11 candidates: Andrzej Duda; Rafał Trzaskowski; Szymon Hołownia; Krzysztof Bosak; Władysław Kosiniak – Kamysz; Robert Biedronia; Józef Żółka; Jakubiak's brand; Jana Tanajno; Włodzimierz Witkowski; Mariusz Piotrowski. (PAP)
