It can be stopped specifically in Ukraine, but in general Putin is equal to war – until the end of his life, ”the businessman said.
Chichvarkin was born in 1974 in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg). In 1996 he graduated from the State Academy of Management in Moscow (now – the State University of Management). During his studies, he took up business.
In 1997, together with a friend, he created the company “Euroset”, which eventually became the largest Russian mobile retailer. In 2008, the Russian security forces searched the company's central office, investigating the case of the abduction of the former Euroset forwarder, which the company's security service accused of thefts of phones. In the same year, Chichvarkin and his partner sold Euroset. The businessman flew to the UK, where he still lives. In the Russian Federation, a criminal case was opened against Chichvarkin. In 2009, Russia announced a businessman on an international wanted list. The case against him was closed in 2011.
In September 2025, the court in Moscow arrested Chichvarkin in absentia on suspicion of distributing the so -called fakes about the Russian army and about evading the duties of “ino -agent”, Radio Liberty reported.
In the UK, Chichvarkin is engaged in business, he has a Hedonism Wines wine store in London.
