“It is possible to fall from the airspace. Keep calm! Hade in the basements or civil defense shelters. If you do not have access to shelter, stay at home, away from windows and external walls. Estimated duration: 90 minutes” – the message was issued by Romanian services.
The message concerned the northern part of the Tulcza district, which borders with Ukraine.
Later, information appeared that Romania's air force intercepted the drone in the national airspace. Two F-16 fighters from the 86th Air Base in Fetesti started to monitor the air situation on the border with Ukraine, after Russian air attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure-says the Antena 3 CNN channel. The machine wreck has already been found.
“The drone did not fly over inhabited areas and did not pose a direct threat to the security of the population,” informs the Ministry of Defense of Romania.
