The UN Security Council has begun. 50 countries supported Poland

After 21.00 the Extraordinary Meeting of the UN Security Council began on the initiative of Poland. This is the first in history of the UN Security Council organized in this formula regarding Poland, although Poland has been repeatedly a co -founder of the RB debates in the past, including on Russian aggression against Ukraine.

According to the rules of the Security Council, representatives of the UN Secretariat and 15 countries currently members of the UN RB, followed by representatives of Poland, Ukraine and Belarus, will speak first.
