Patriot launchers in Ukraine. The Germans made up with the Norwegians


Boris Pistorius announced this at the beginning of the meeting of the Ukrainian contact group for defense (also known as the Ramstein format) on Tuesday, September 9 in London.
The German minister said that in addition to the constant supply of weapon and ammunition systems to Ukraine, “Germany is in the process of providing two complete Patriot systems to Ukraine“.
“The first launchers have already been handed over to Ukraine” – he said.
Norway covered half of the costs of patriots for Ukraine
The minister also thanked Norway for “generously agreeing to cover half the costs of these two Patriot systems“.
“Together with our American allies, we allow you to quickly replace Patriot systems,” he added.

The Ukrainian truth reminds that on August 24 it has been reported that Norway will allocate about 7 billion crowns (about $ 695.7 million) to air defense of Ukraine.

Americans approved the sale of patriots of Ukraine
On September 1, Kiev asked to convene an extraordinary meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council in the Format of the Political Committee in connection with the large-scale attacks of Russia. The meeting was devoted to strengthening the air defense of Ukraine, an extension of allies support for drone production and intensifying pressure on Russia.
