Conversations about sending troops to Ukraine are ongoing – not individual soldiers, but thousands of; It is too early to inform about it at the moment – said the President of Ukraine Wołodymyr Zełnski in Użhoród on Friday.

“This is a matter of which you talked about – that there has been information that 10,000 (soldiers can be in Ukraine). I repeat again, I will not talk about the exact number, but it is important that we discuss all this. Yes, they will certainly not be individual soldiers, but thousands. It's a fact, but for now it's still a bit early to talk about it” – said Zelanski during a press conference with the chairman of the European Council Antonio Costa.

Earlier, the European diplomat gave the daily a Wall Street Journal that the heads of the armed forces of Europe developed A detailed placement plan, which provides for two groups of land forces in Ukraine: one for training and supporting Ukrainian soldiersand the second, separate group, to stop Russia's future aggression.

According to the diplomat, the current plan provides for the distribution of over 10,000 soldiers, and patrolling the airspace above Ukraine will be conducted by air force stationed outside the country.
