In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a 9-year-old girl from Zheleznogorsk became a victim of scammers in a popular Internet game.

It was established that the schoolgirl received a message from an unknown user with a proposal to purchase skins (virtual objects that change the appearance of the character of the game) and believed him. “Taking advantage of her father’s phone with access to a mobile bank, the girl transferred almost 300 thousand rubles to the account indicated by the attacker. After that, he stopped in touch, ”the police said.

A criminal case has been instituted on the fact of large -scale fraud (part 3 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
