The media revealed how many military men can send to Ukraine the “Coalition of those who wish”

As the Radio Freedom indicated, Türkiye will play a leading role in ensuring the safety of Ukraine at sea, and the UK and France on land. At the same time, a multinational contingent will take care of safety in the sky.

According to media sources, the European mission in Ukraine will consist of 25-30 thousand military, but it can still change and “depends on the peace agreement, the role of the United States and, in many cases, the approval of parliaments.”

Also, the function of the Western forces in Ukraine has not yet been finally agreed. After the summit of European leaders with American President Donald Trump in Washington on August 18, American and European officials began to develop a proposal providing for security guarantees for Ukraine. A working group was created, which included advisers to the leaders of the national security countries, it was headed by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Among the scenarios, which, according to the media, are considered by this group, is the sending of a military contingent to Ukraine as part of guarantees.

On September 4, a meeting of the “Coalitions of those who wish” was held in Paris with the participation of Zelensky, at which they discussed security guarantees for Ukraine. European leaders held a conversation with Trump after the summit.

The meeting participants discussed in detail the readiness of each of the countries to “make a contribution to ensuring security on Earth, at sea, in the air and in cyberspace,” said Zelensky. It also “coordinated positions and discussed security guarantees”, the Ukrainian president added.

After the meeting, French President Emmanuel Macron said that 26 countries had to deploy troops in Ukraine as support forces or to provide their presence on land, sea or in the air to “provide this support in Ukraine the day after the ceasefire or the establishment of peace.” At the same time, he refused to call the number of military people who will take part in the peacekeeping mission.
