The meeting that Nicușor Dan convened for Tuesday, in Cotroceni, with the leaders in the ruling coalition is “absolutely normal, at the beginning of the parliamentary session”, and “needed,” said UDMR leader Kelemen Hunor.

The UDMR leader acknowledged that some clarifications are needed regarding the availability that will be done in the local and central administration, saying that it takes two or three weeks for an analysis.
“We support those measures that must be included in assuming the local and central administration, but it takes time, two weeks, for several reasons. The figures must be clarified, because the reports were not the same. On the other hand, the communication was wrong when some spoke of 20 percent (no availability – no, no, We are talking about busy positions.
According to the UDMR leader, there are some local authorities where you can reach 20 percent layoffs, but small communes cannot reach this percentage because they remain without employees.
“Indeed, it takes time and these two or three weeks are needed to clarify. But we have to go with these measures,” Kelemen Hunor added.
The meeting in Cotroceni takes place in the context of the conflict in the coalition determined by the PSD blocking of the Package of Measures of Prime Minister Bolojan related to the reform of the central and local public administration.
