Hamas confirmed the death of his military leader


Hamas did not provide details about the death of Sinwar, but published photos of him with other group leaders, calling them “martyrs”.
Mohammad Sinwar was the younger brother of Jahji Sinwara, the leader of the Islamist faction, who co -organized the attack on Israel of October 7, 2023 and whom Israel killed in battle a year later. He was promoted to the highest position in the group after his brother's death.
Confirmation of Sinwar's death will make his close associate of Izz al-Din Haddad, who currently supervises operations in North Gaza, standing at the head of the armed wing of Hamas throughout the enclave, he passed on Reuters.
The Israeli authorities confirmed the killing of Mohammed Sinwar, the last Hamas leader in the Gaza Strip in June. His body was found in May and subjected to verification in Israel.
