The Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas was unhappy on Thursday by his opponent's tactics, German Daniel Altmaier, after missing a match ball and left the US Open in a five -set defeat, writes the British newspaper The Guardian.

Thursday's defeat means that the former world number 3 will end the season without playing in the third round of a Grand Slam tournament for the first time in 2017.

The German used the service under the arm several times, a regulation allowed, but rarely used, while returning to the fourth set, and Tsitsipas understood the German that he did not agree with this, when the two held their hand at the end of the match that lasted four hours and 26 minutes.

“Next time, do not wonder why I hit you, well? No, I just say that if you serve under your arm … If you serve under your arm,” Tsitsipas told Altmaier, suggesting that he aimed the German body during the match.

The audience fired when the German, the world number 56, removed with the raised hand, refusing to talk to the Greek.
