Ponta supports the decision of 2014 by Călin Georgescu's words: “This is how the leaders think! God asks us to save lives!”

The independent candidate for the presidential elections Victor Ponta distributed on the social networks an fragment from an interview with former candidate Călin Georgescu to the American journalist Tucker Carlson. In registration, Georgescu states that “In the real world, a true leader saves lives. It does not let people die.”
Ponta posted the video on his Facebook page, accompanied by the following message:
“This is how the leaders think! God asks us to save lives! And the devil twists the minds of the weak, traitors, corrupt and cowardly!
The statements come in the context in which Victor Ponta revealed a controversial decision from 2014, when, as a prime minister, he approved the opening of locks from the Iron Gates to avoid flooding in the capital of Serbia, Belgrade. Although the measure led to flooding some land in Romania, Ponta claims to be “Reconciled soul” with that decision.

“It is a thing that I am very reconciled with souls and I am proud, as a Romanian, that I have helped our neighbors in distress.” he told Romania TV on Thursday night. “I want to respond with my hand on my heart and in front of God why I think I did a good thing for any man, any Romanian and any Christian.”
Asked why Serbia put in the first place, although his campaign slogan is “Romania in the first place”, Ponta explained: “I put the people and the lives of people, so I was raised from home, so I read in the Bible, so my mother said. The first thing: you save people.”
Former PSD leader added that it is “A sin” To say that you only care about the life of the Romanians and not that of other people. “When I had a choice between human lives and some flooding lands, and today I think the right decision is to save human lives, this makes a leader in crisis, make decisions and I will do as president because there will be crises and I think this is waiting for the Romanians from me.”
Former candidate for presidential elections Călin Georgescu gave April 10 an interview to former Fox News Tucker Carlson. This was the first public appearance after the Central Electoral Bureau forbade him to participate in the May poll.
However, during the interview, Georgescu did not directly exhort the sovereign electorate to vote with George Simion, nor with Victor Ponta, although the candidates concern the same category of voters as him.
