Dacia Sandero is, after seven months, the best -selling car in Europe, with a total of over 150,000 units, and in the second place is Renault Clio, writes Automotive News. The big rival is also from the Renault group, the Clio model, the score being 4 to 3 for Sandero in the seven months.

Dacia Sandero was the best -selling car in Europe in January, February and March, then three months was Renault Clio, and the Romanian model returned to the first place in July. with a total of 24,000 units sold.

So, in four months leader was Sandero and in three months, Clio.

Detailed sales figures are published every month by the JATO research company, which also draws up brands and models, for almost 30 European countries.

Between January and July 2025, the total for Sandero was 152,800 units, a decrease of 9% compared to the similar period of 2024. The best markets were France, Italy and Germany.

The Sandero sales at European level were also affected by the delay of the Rabla program in Romania, a Dacia official said in July.

Sandero was the best -selling car in 2024.

Apart from Sandero and Clio, the best-selling cars in Europe are Peugeot 208, Golf, T-Roc and Tiguan from Volkswagen, Dacia Duster, Peugeot 2008 and Citroen C3.
