Calin Georgescu, surprised in the car with the controversial businessman Ionel Rusen, accused of scamming more businessmen

Former presidential sovereign candidate, Călin Georgescu, and the controversial businessman Ionel Russian, met in a parking lot in Herastrau. The images were caught in the car of Rusen and posted on a known page for the publication of filing filming.

The images posted on Tiktok suggest that Rusen and Georgescu continue to meet discreetly, as before the presidential campaign.

Ionel Rusen is a businessman from Constanța, who was noted for the comments on social networks during the elections.

Rusen was also involved in a company – Romanian Allied International Defense SRL, who wanted to buy the Drăgășani SA Mechanical Plant, but awaited the opinion from SRI, SIE, the ministries of defense and the economy. Meanwhile, the majority package of the company was bought by Douglas Anderson, an American investor, supporter of Călin Georgescu.

According to the investigation, Rusen is the character about whom several Romanian businessmen, including Ioan Niculae, claimed to have scamped them.

Niculae has publicly declared that businessman Ionel Rusen would have harmed dozens of investors, and in his personal case it would be about half a million euros.

Another businessman from Buzău claimed that Rusen, along with Călin Georgescu, had scamped him with a million euros. In the election campaign, the former Interagro employer stated, in an interview with Antena 3, that he intended to join the complaint made to DIICOT by the businessman.

“450,000 euros stole this scam. (…) I don't know what a scam he can do with the money he took from me. Că ia dat lui Georgescu, lui Trump, lui Putin… un lucru știu cert numai acest nenorocit a fost la mine în casă, îmi pare rău că i-am dat să mănânce și să bea. (…) It was never a word about the financing of someone in an election campaign, we are talking about the year 2020”, Said Ioan Niculae.
