PRADA, which is controlled by the Italian designer Miuccia Prada with his husband, will buy Versace from Capri Holdings Ltd., which in 2018 paid € 1.8 billion for this brand.
Bloomberg notes that this is the biggest purchase in the 112-year Prada history, which gives Versace a chance to achieve what they could not achieve with the previous owner.
It is noted that Prada negotiated for several months, but they can adjust the final price. The completion of the agreement is scheduled for the second half of 2025.

The founder of the Versace Fashion House Gianni Versace on July 15, 1997, on the threshold of his estate in Miami Beach, killed serial killer Andrew Kunenen.
