Tourists and influencers have discovered the secret to the inhabitants of Venice: for 2 euros you can swim with a gondola to the other side of Canal Grande. Since it has been publicized on social networks, tourists from around the world set up at the Łódź stop. Venetians protest, who once again talk about the tourist “invasion”.
The daily “La Repubblica” informed about the irritation of the inhabitants of Venice, who must wait in a queue with tourists to get to the other side.
In the historic center of the city, gondolars provide a public transport service for the short section of Canal Grande. The cruise lasts a few minutes.

The city's inhabitants pay 70 eurocents for this, and all of them remained 2 euros.
Tourists who do not want to pay several dozen euros for a gondola cruise choose this cheap option. As noted, it became one of the biggest attractions, promoted by influencers.
As a result, long queues in which the inhabitants are waiting with crowds of tourists are set up on the waterfront, from which Venetian boats leave.
