Krasnoyarsk was told how to protect the bicycle from theft

The police told the Krasnoyarsk people how not to become a victim of a crime and not lose two -wheeled transport.

Since the beginning of summer, about 100 bicycles left unattended were stolen in the city. Most of them were in the porches or on the streets and were not fastened with a bike. Attackers often use this negligence and negligence.

To prevent theft of bicycles, ATS employees recommend:

• If possible, leave the transport so that it is in sight, while you are in the building;
• If you still need to leave the bike outside the visibility zone, fasten it with a special locking device, even if you have excommunicated for a short period of time. But you need to know that cheap and thin cables are easily snack. It will be better if you fasten it by the wheel and frame or both wheels and frame;
• Take all the quick -detachable equipment (pump, lantern, etc.) with you, and also, if the structure allows, the saddle. The attractiveness of such a “understaffed” bicycle without a saddle is much less;
• At night or for a long absence, leave a bicycle in an apartment or another reliable room.
