The head of the Ukrainian state emphasized that in the war with Russia, he and his compatriots defend their and even those who speak Moscow, know that she is doing evil.
“Of course, we will not give Russia prizes for what it has done. The Ukrainian nation deserves peace. But all partners must understand what a dignified peace is. This war must be ended and Russia is to do it. Russia has started it and prolonged it, regardless of any terms, and this is a problem, not something else,” said Zelanski in the video recording.
“The answer to the Ukrainian territorial question is already in the constitution of Ukraine. Nobody will withdraw from it and will not be able to withdraw. Ukrainians will not give their land to the occupier” – assured the Ukrainian leader.

Trump announced earlier that he would meet with Russian leader Vladimir Putin on Friday, August 15 in Alaska. This will be the first meeting of the leaders since Trump took power for the second time in January this year.
On Friday, Trump said that the agreement on the end of the war was close, and suggested that it assumes the exchange of territories. – We look at the issue of territory, which for three and a half years fights (…) so we consider it, but we really want to recover some of them and make an exchange. It's complicated. Actually, it's nothing simple (…) we will exchange some of the territories to improve the situation of both sides – he said.
