“It can't be that children die”


As part of recent activities, the left has submitted a draft resolution in the Sejm condemning Israel's actions aimed at the civilian population of the Gaza Strip. This document, as announced by MP Daria Gosek-Popiołek during Tuesday's briefing, is aimed at Pressure on the Israeli government and restoring the activities of humanitarian organizations in the region. “We hope that this resolution will be adopted by the entire Sejm,” the MP emphasized.
On Thursday, August 7, Ambassador Mahmoud Khalifa read the draft resolution during a meeting with Włodzimierz Czarzasty. The deputy marshal pointed out at a later conference that Khalifa accepted the invitation to the procedure of the project in the Sejm. Other forms of support for Palestine were also considered, although the details remain undisclosed at the moment. Czarzasty also wants to convince coalition partners to more intensive actions to resolve the conflict.

“It can't be that children are starved”
During the meeting, there was a proposal that the Polish parliament would invite the head of the Palestinian National Council to discuss the current situation. “It can't be that children are starved, it can't be that thousands of people die,” said Czarzasty, calling for a more decisive reaction to the situation in gas.
Ambassador Khalifa expressed gratitude to the left for condemning actions aimed at escalating the conflict, while indicating the important role of Poland in presenting positions promoting a two -state solution. “This position of the Polish government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs remains clear to us“noted Khalifa.
The ministry of diplomacy in a communiqué issued on Monday emphasized that Poland recognizes Israel's law to defend, but openly criticizes the number of civil victims in Gaza. “Israel is obliged to protect civilians, which it does not currently meet,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote. The document added that Poland does not accept the use of hunger as a weapon or limiting access to humanitarian aid.
Poland, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has been supporting the law of Palestinians for years to have their own independent state. “The current edition of the conflict brings an unimaginable humanitarian disaster and the suffering of civilians“assessed. The conflict consumes an increasing number of victims, especially among the civilians, arousing broad indignation and appeals for political activities.
