In the elections to local governments appointed on the territory of the region on September 14, 3031 candidates from nine electoral associations were nominated and, in the order of self -nomination, said the rural committee.
The leader in the number of nominated candidates was the Krasnoyarsk regional branch of the United Russia party. The party of authorities by half bypassed the closest competitors, putting forward their candidates for all vacant mandates.
Krasnoyarsk political scientist Alexander Chernyavsky analyzed and appreciated how various parties in the region build their election campaigns:
“The first stage of the campaign was held without surprises and, importantly, without scandals. The minimum of candidates could not pass the primary filter. The number and quality of participants in the elections presents all the main political forces and social strata. Among the candidates, the number of veterans has increased and this is quite in the line of federal trends. “United Russia” acts in a traditional style, focusing on solving specific problems of territories. The opposition will theoretically try to use the factor of ambiguous municipal reform during the campaign, but not the fact that they have enough resource to promote this plot. I think that we will see the serious activity of parties only in the last weeks before a single voting day. ”
Recall that in the Krasnoyarsk Territory on September 14, 2025, the elections of deputies to local authorities in 28 territories will be held.
