As a prime minister, I have cooperated with three presidents so far. How will it be with the fourth? We can do it – Prime Minister Donald Tusk wrote on Wednesday. On Wednesday, Karol Nawrocki will take an oath before the National Assembly, will give a message and start a five -year term of office of the President of the Republic of Poland.



The prime minister in its post on Platform X summed up the current cooperation with three presidents. “With Lech Kaczyński, cohabitation was difficult, but not an enemy, with Bronisław Komorowski friendly, but demanding, with Andrzej Duda uncomplicated and very predictable,” said the head of government.

Tusk also referred to cooperation with the future President Karol Nawrocki. “How will it be with the fourth? We will handle it,” the head of government declared.

At 10 The National Assembly will begin, before which Nawrocki will take the presidential oath, deliver his first message and start the five -year term of office of the President of the Republic of Poland.
After the ceremony in the Sejm, Karol Nawrocki and his wife will go to the Archcathedral of St. John the Baptist, where a mass will be held at noon for the homeland and the president. Then at the Royal Castle Karol Nawrocki will take over the symbolic sovereignty over the Order of the White Eagle and the Order of Polonia Restituta – the two oldest civil state decorations. The president's speech is also planned there.
Around 15.15 there will be a solemn entrance of the presidential couple to the Presidential Palace.
At 16.30 celebrations will start at Marshal Józef Piłsudski Square. After the commission of the Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Army, General Wiesław Kukuła, greeting with commanders of the types of armed forces, which will be presented by the Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, and with soldiers from the gathered sub-units and the indication of honors to banners, Karol Nawrocki will take over the authority over the armed forces of the Republic of Poland. He will also give a speech and receive a parade.
At 17.30 Karol Nawrocki and his family will go to the Presidential Palace. (PAP)
