Alerts from ANM: yellow code of heat in several counties, including in Bucharest, until Monday / where it rains at night

Meteorologists on Sunday issued two yellow code alerts targeting counties in the south and east of the country, until Monday evening, as well as a storm warning and vijections for the night.

The first yellow code for heat is in force from 12.00 and is valid until 21.00. The counties of Mehedinți, Dolj, Olt and Teleorman are targeted. Here, it will be heat, high thermal discomfort, and the maximum temperatures will be 35 … 36 degrees.

Also, from today, from 8:00 pm, until tomorrow, August 4, at 07:00, will be a yellow storm code for counties in the west of the country.

Thus, in the evening and at night, in Banat, Crișana, Maramureș, the northwest of Transylvania and in the Western Carpathians there will be periods with atmospheric instability that will manifest through torrential showers, electric discharges, wind intensifications (50 … 70 km/h) and isolated. In short intervals or by accumulation, the quantities of water will be 20… 30 l/sqm and isolated over 40 l/sqm.

Subsequently, tomorrow, the second yellow heat code, valid between August 4, 12:00 – 4 August at 9:00 pm, enters into force.

Thus, on Monday, in the south-east of Oltenia, in the south and east of Muntenia, as well as in the southwest of Dobrogea will be the heat and high thermal discomfort, and the maximum temperatures will be 35 … 36 degrees.

ANM says that by the middle of the week, there will be the heat and thermal discomfort in the south and south-east of the country.
