Presidential elections 2025. People with disabilities and seniors can take advantage of facilitations


The presidential election in Poland will take place on May 18, 2025. That day Poles will go to polling stations to vote in the first round. The turnout during previous presidential elections in 2020 amounted to 64.51 percent. in the first round and 68.18 percent in the second round.
People with disabilities and seniors who are over 60 years old have the opportunity to vote for correspondence. To take advantage of this form of voting, you must submit an application no later than 13 days before the election, i.e. by May 5.

This can be done via a trusted profile on the Internet, in person at the headquarters of the electoral commissioner or by post. Disabled people should attach a scan or a copy of the current disability certificate to the application. For people with sight disabilities, it is possible to request a special voting card overlay in Braille's alphabet. The package will be delivered by post at the latest six days before the election.

Seniors and people with disabilities can also take advantage of free transport for elections offered by municipal authorities.
Transport includes a passage from the place of residence or other indicated place to the polling station and back.
The application for transport should also be submitted up to 13 days before the election, i.e. until May 5, 2025. The application can be submitted via the Internet, by phone or in person at the Commune Office.
