Domański: GDP growth in 2025 will amount to 3.4 percent
As Domański pointed out in a conversation published on YouTube on Tuesday with government spokesman Adam Szłapka, this level of GDP growth puts Poland among the fastest growing EU countries. In his opinion, it can be seen that more growth engines are involved in the Polish economy. ” As he noted, retail sales were such an engine for a long time, but now you can see a gradual improvement in the situation in industry and exports, which is related to the improvement of the situation in the euro area.
Speaking of inflation, Domański stated that it has now dropped around 3 percent, and in the following months there would be a further decline.
Speaking of the design of the new EU budget, Domański estimated that the EU clearly goes in the direction of supporting investments and innovation. – We are two years to create an ecosystem for supporting innovation to take as much as possible from EU funds – the minister emphasized, adding that Polish companies are still relatively rarely using innovation. “EU funds must be used to push the economy higher,” he said.
– We need to create new growth tools. Salaries are growing, the cost competition is getting worse, so Polish companies must focus on the most advanced solutions – added the minister. (PAP)
