The Krasnoyarsk residents were prompted by the rules that would help maintain vision during office work. Recommendations were given in the regional Rospotrebnadzor.

To minimize the harm, it is recommended to put a monitor no closer than 45 cm from the eyes. The upper point of the screen should be not lower than the eye level. In addition, you should not turn it towards the window. Experts also recalled that you can not work in the dark, when the only source of light is the monitor
The most effective preventive measure is gymnastics for the eyes. Experts talked about several simple exercises:
- Focus on a point or object near, and then turn your eyes into the distance to a distance of about 5 meters. Repeat 5-7 times.
- Mentally draw the number 8 with your eyes, repeat several times.
- Quickly blink for 15 seconds, then pause in 5 seconds and repeat the exercise.
- Strong your hair for 5 seconds, then open your eyes at the same time and do not blink. Repeat 5-7 times.
