Two schools in the Sovetsky district of Krasnoyarsk will undergo major overhauls

In Krasnoyarsk, two more schools are preparing for a large-scale renovation: No. 18 in the Severny microdistrict (Urvantseva St., 10a) and No. 85 in Green Grove (Bykovskogo St., 4).
According to the mayor's office, educational institutions built in 1997 and 1962 have long been in need of major repairs.
Almost 500 million rubles are allocated for the renovation of these two schools; the work will be carried out within the framework of the Youth and Children national project.
“To the contractors, “Promstroyresurs” (school no. 18) and “Krasstroykom” (school no. 85), Comprehensive work remains to be carried out: replacing outdated utility lines and completely renovating the interior. The changes will affect not only the buildings themselves. The appearance of the surrounding areas will also improve: it is planned to install modern sports grounds that meet modern standards, pedestrian paths will also be updated and landscaping will be carried out. In addition, schools will be additionally equipped with new educational and technological equipment. All work must be completed by July 30, 2027“, the education department said.
During the renovation, students will be transferred to other schools in the Sovetsky district. From the beginning of the next school year, children from school No. 18 will study at school No. 69 (grades 1-4) and school No. 161 (grades 5-11). Pupils of grades 1, 5, 10 and 11 of school No. 85 will continue their studies in the second building of the institution on Dzhambulskaya, grades 6-9 will study at school No. 91, and grades 2-4 – at school No. 56.
