If at the end of July your pumpkins are still the size of a tennis ball, do not rush to be upset. With proper care and natural methods, the fruits reach 15, or even 16 kilograms without the use of chemical tops.

One of the main problems is the misconception that after July nothing can be changed. In fact, the pumpkin is actively growing to the very frost. So, you have at least 60 days ahead to direct the forces of the plant to the formation of large and sweet fruits. It is worth starting with the elimination of critical errors: improper watering, chaotic pruning and lack of protection against rot.

First, form the bush: leave the main lash and two side, on each – one ovary. Put the mulch to avoid overheating and maintain moisture. Carry out only early in the morning, strictly according to the scheme. After a week, the leaves will get stronger, and the ovaries will begin to be rounded.

Then go to feed. Use homemade infusions from food waste and wood ash. To strengthen the power, press the side lashes to the ground and sprinkle them – so you will get additional roots. Two weeks later, the fruits will grow to the size of the soccer ball.

Two weeks before the collection, reduce watering in half, and remove top dressing at all. Easy stress makes the plant urgently give all the resources to the fruits, and if you cut the stalk and process the cut with a garden var, a week before collecting, you will not only get the maximum weight, but also extend the shelf life.
